Do you think Multiple Intelligences (MI) help teachers while doing an activity in the lesson?
Do teachers react to "multiple intelligences"? Effects of teachers' stereotypes on judgments and expectancies for students with diverse patterns of giftedness/talent.
Why Has Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences Had So Little Impact on Vocational Psychology?
Do you think that it is effective for a student to know about his/her NLP strenght?
Is it right to classify students according to their ability or interest in any area without taking care of their need?
1.I think the knowledge of multiple intelligenges of the students help teacher to know about each student's ability and capability. Thus, while doing an activity or any lesson, she takes into consideration of this criterias. Also while evaluating the students, it can be useful for the teacher.
ReplyDelete2. I think some teachers react their students' talent or giftedness. For example, in secondary school, our teacher selected some of us and suggest us to take a painting course. Besides, in high school, our teacher gave idea to us which area we can choose according to our intelligences.
1. In my opinion, knowing your students' personality traits, interests and intelligence tendency is one of the most significant factor which a teacher should take into account while organizing classroom activities because, thanks to the knowledge of students' traits, teacher may not experience that much difficulty in taking students' attention, interests and participation
ReplyDelete5. I think people's need is shaped according to their likes and dislikes or their interests and ability. For instance, I have a great interest in history and different language learning so my needs are almost shaped and determined by these areas in my educational and career life because I generally want to engage with those areas. They define the cornerstones of my life so I don't think it is wrong to classify people according to their ability and interest without taking their needs because their needs are already their ability and interests.
